The Lost Cosmonauts are a two piece act, Tom Martin and Rob Davis.
The duo started playing guitar together when they were around seventeen years old,
and went on to form the band Shelf Life. After a couple of years with
Shelf Life, Tom and Rob felt unhappywith where the band was going, and decided to break away and do their own thing. This meant ditching the electric guitars and distortion pedals, and blowing the dust off the acoustics.

Since this decision, the duo have written a number of new songs, as well as re-working some of the old ones. They have played a number of acoustic gigs in Dublin venues such as Eamon Doran's and Issac Butt's, The Voodoo Lounge and The Stag's Head.
